Too Cold!!

Last Saturday in Yardley Pa was a fantastic sunny 55 deg top down day. Today its 15 deg after a snowstorm came through last night!

I won't put my top down unless it is at least 60 and the sun is shining. Even then, the heater is blasting because it is freakin' cold! I don't want to use the seat heaters because I've heard that it is bad for the man parts.

Same here. a minimum of 60f sounds about right.

When I bought my 2011 SS Vert back in april of 2011, it was in the mid-high 50's and I was determined to drive it off the lot with the top down. After all, it was my first convertible in 30 years!

Last year in the early spring, a group of us got together to drive to our monthly meeting in a group, and one of the new members drove up in her 45th Vert with her top down. It was about 55 degrees and I wasn't about to let a woman drive with her top down and me with the top still up, so I put mine down.

As the sun went down during our drive, the temp dropped. By the time we got off the freeway at our exit, it was down to 43 dgrees, and by golly I was FREEZING MY BUTT OFF!. My hands were turning white even with holding them right in front of the heater vents.! The heated seats were'nt helping much anymore either.

At the first stop light I put that damned top UP! and managed to thaw out just in time to pull into the resturant.

Now that's not saying I won't be an idiot again this year when I bring my ZL1 Vert out of storage for the first time, but yup, min of 60 sounds about right.

wow, 43 degrees with the top down! you are more crazy than me. i thnk min. of 60 for me, and with a jacket . i want to get a wind restrictor in the spring for my car

I have figured out that 40 F is about my limit. Above that, top is going down and sun is coming in...

It wasn't 43 when we started out, it was around 55, but the main stretch was all xpressway with the sun going down, so there was no opportunity to put the top up till we made it to our exit.

Goin nuts with this winter. Getn up tomorrow, mixn up a baileys and coffee, gonna sit in my convertible in my heated garage and crank up some led zeppelin! Geez I am ready for warm weather!

18F this morning with 1.5 inches of snow. And as if that isn't bad enough they salted the roads again which means at least 4 good rains before car goes out.
