Someone told me the Pedder coilovers are made in China. I was under the impression they are made in America. Does anyone know?

I don't want any aftermarket suspension parts on my car that are not American made. I know many of the components on the Camaro are made in China, but I presume government motors has the management oversight necessary to ensure a certain level of quality.

I'll tell you this much about the Pedders bunch..... Pete and Mike have been on this site longer than most of us, and they're always around when someone needs tech help... even with competitors pieces. That's what you call integrity!!

I've seen their product first hand, it's as good if not better than their made in usa competitors, and their service after the sale is the BEST.

But the thing that impresses me most... The Pedders bunch won't blow salesmen smoke up your @ss to get you to buy something you don't need.

Who cares where they are made!. You should judge a compnay by the way the treat you and the performqnce of their product line. If GM thinks they are worthy of licensing and distributing them thru the GM system, who cares. As for me, I feel there are a lot more benifits to the Pedders coil overs than Pfadt.

This is the kind of stuff that I hate on threads. Pete himself, installed my suspension on my Camaro with only 20 miles on it. We worked on it all day and then went out for beers. Later on I developed a slight ping on my rear passenger side. Pete sent me to a local shop to fix it and paid the tab. Recently he sent me an invite to come watch the Saleen mustang and pedder's camaro challenge. He is just a genuinely nice guy. Have the decency to contact him directly if you have a question.
