New Camaro Tail Lights and Side View Mirrors Revealed! (possibly export model)

Another thing I noticed, that points to Europe. Look at how the Michigan plate is mounted. They had to drill two holes in the plate and not use the plates existing holes.

Also the space for the plate is larger so a european style plate would fit.

I also have to wonder, is it just me or is the black trim around the drivers side window darker? It also has black roof ditch moldings and does not have the RS badge, but has the halos.

I think one is the European model and the other a US model with the European upgrades. Personally I'm not a fan of either.

Absolutely friggen hideous.

Take the current RS Tail Light, change the chrome bezel to black - done, and perfect.

Side Mirrors, take the current design and make it folding, add the turn signal - done.

Then spend your time and engineering money on something that really needs to be fixed, like the sun visors that don't block the sun.

I don't own a Camaro yet, but when I get one it will be a 2011 if this crap goes through. The taillights are horrible and the mirrors make it look like Mickey Mouse! I'm pissed that GM is taking a beauty like the Camaro and F-ing it up. I always loved how they left the final design so close to the Concept. You just dont mess with perfection!

The tail lights aren't bad but the lenses do look like there from an audi TT or a Audi 2.8. The mirrors are hideous. My 72 cheyenne with the camper mirror package are smaller than those things.

As pointed out by the more rational people here, this is an "overseas" ONLY version.

It is a bit of a shame that the regulations have been interpreted in this way!! I think the rear lights may
prove to be better in the flesh BUT the mirrors are not very nice! (maybe they are not the finished version.....I hope)

The red reflectors are fine and are the same on my car....

The original mirrors passed the size requirement when I got mine tested BUT they did not fold in so that needed to
be done by GM to get European approval not make them huge..

The regulations say there needs to be a side mounted turn signal (does not need to be in the mirror) mine is on the fender
just after the chevy script, and looks fine.

One nice thing is the headlamp washer jet (a requirement if you have HID lights) and this also means the headlamps are
height adjustable from inside the car as this is also a requirement if you have HID..................nice retro fit??

The grill by the diff is interesting as I can't see any requirement for it or what it may be for?

Time will tell ......but for the conspiracy lovers.....................the Europeans are coming!!!!

Sunyap Lee got this car so right that the only thing that GM can do is to ruin it. It appears that they have started down that road. I love my R6P SS. I will keep my early order silver bullet forever.

Oh no! GM, seriously, don't do this. Both options are really a bad decision. The mirrors need to be much thinner and the tail lights need to go. Please rethink this because this is not good! Export yes, US sales no, no, no!
