Does the ZL1 hood clear a 2.9 whipple?
Anyone know if the ZL1 hood (including the insert) will clear a 2.9 whipple on an LS3?

ZL1 is larger than SS so s 2.9 Whipple should be just fine

ZL1s just git delivered. Expecting a Whipple already
might be a little early considering there are videos from just today for dynos. If you're just getting a front clip for your SS, it's been said ZL1's hood is higher than SS/V6, so it should fit fine.

Just get turbo! HPS could sort you out I'm sure. More torque and power, no hood clearance issues.

I think without a doubt it will fit, because a Whipple 2.9L fits under a stock SS hood perfectly.

I believe mods will be required. My tvs2300 will only fit with modification.
the drain tile on the bottom side of the insert is the issue at hand.
