I was with J (Mindz) one weekday on 880 south cruzin next to a vette, and I guess he (vette) thought he was to good to be cruisen next to us, and decided to pull right in front of me @ 70 MPH, but I've mostly had positive encounters with vettes even while playing around with them.

So.. the other day, i went to lunch and as i was parking and walking back in to work, some dude stops me and was admiring the car, commented several times on the paint.. said he liked it. He asked if it was an 8, or a 6, and i said 6 and this guy says to me, "Aww.. should have got the 8. It's a total waste of money to buy a V6. I dont even like it anymore." To that i say to him, "I bought the car for me. I didnt buy it to please you, or anyone else. and you obviously know absolutely nothing about the car(based on his questions), and I find it rude to instantly diss someone elses ride, especially to their face, for no reason what so ever. With that, have a nice day." I started to walk away, he kind of had a look of disbelief, which i kind of chuckled at.

He got in to his car, which was about 3 cars down from mine. The nerve of this guy to say that crap when he's driving a HONDA FIT!!

People can be so rude.

To the OP, sorry man. It happens everywhere you go. Im just going to take it with a grain of salt, because you know what? I love my car the way it is, and I have no regrets what so ever. you should too.

I hope it's not a contagious thing.

So far I haven't run into any, uh, problems...with jealous people. Plenty of lookers and admirers, of course. Certainly more panhandlers coming out of the woodwork though, especially at the pump.
