Hylton, Since you see these on a day in and day out basis. In your opinion, what is the nicest color?

To answer your question though, I have seen all the available 20 inch wheels up close and I like them all. Speaking just about the 20's - all 3 finishes are nice. They key will be with how you accessories the car whith the wheels you have chosen. Polished (RS or SS) - Looks good on anything. I saw Rick Hendrick's Number 1 car up close and the black with polished wheels is hard to stop staring at. Having said this, the best for polished wheels will be the IOM cars with no stripes and a 1 inch drop. That car (V6 or V8) will be the factory look to beat IMO. Midnight Silver (RS)- Any RS car that has grey or black stripes will be best to bring out the color of the midnight silver wheels. The everyday person will not be able to tell them apart from the silver finished wheels unless the cars are parked next to each other. Silver (SS) - Anything with silver or white stripes and both reds, IBM and CGM. Look at the 2002 SS Camaros to get a idea of this wheel color and how it looks with various paints.

So I was on the right brain wave polished with IOM to help the paint pop more. Thanks Hylton!

IMO anyways. The paint looks like it's $1,000 a gallon. If I was going to put stripes on an IOM car, nothing less than painted on with pearl paint from House of Colors. IOM is begging for true pearl white stripes!

I had ordered one of the Inferno orange metallic cars, but did not like having the orange panels in the car which left it with the blueish interior ambiant lighting.
I got a chance to sit in the my dealer on a sales conference with GM and they confirmed that the Inferno orange metallic cars will have orange interior ambiant lighting even if they did not opt for the interior color package |

Not true! IOM interior will have ornage ambient lighting. It has nothing to do with what color you choose.

Any car painted IOM will have orange ambient lighting. Originally if you ordered the orange interior you got get orange ambient lighting, else you got the blueish. -- Edit: IOM cars that have ambient lighting will have orange ambient lighting and not the blueish/white. The only way a car will have orange ambient lighting is if 1) the car is either a 2LT or 2SS and 2) the car has the IOM interior upgrade package.

IOM comparison
"Brazen orange" next to yellow. My Orange FJ 40 in background. The G8 orange, my FJ orange background. Direct sunlight and IOM is a Sweet color, but more of a red orange. That is I understand the "Brazen" to be like the IOM?
