I live in S.W. Florida (50 degrees is cold to us) and back when I ran P-Zeros I noticed that anything under 75 degrees or so and the P-Zeros were pretty much worthless for traction.

I would drive to work on cool morning and it was like I was driving on ice.

But on a hot day (90 degrees) they hooked up great.

Yup same here. We don't have winters really. I never use a jacket except at night and that's only a sweat shirt or hoodie.

It does make driving fun in the winter. Awesome traction in the summer...110 + here.

I have not had any problems yet, I am going into my 2nd winter. I have driven in 35 degrees just recently. would having nitrogen in them make a difference?

I've noticed the same thing with the P-zeros when it's a little bit chilly out you can run out of talent really quick!

Love the yellow! Looks awesome!

Didn't mean to get off subject. Got 28,000 on my tires, and could use a new set. Burnouts seem to make them wear for some reason... Lol!

I wouldn't think so, they would just be less likely to have tire pressure fluctuations. I think it's mostly the rubber compound that's to blame.

I have AS P-Zeros (stock with the V6) and they hate any snow and ice. Next to zero traction with just a little bit snow and ice. I was pretty nervous driving around until I got my Blizzak WS70's. I can get my car up to speed easily and stop on a dime on snow covered roads. It's amazing what the right tire will do.

At 35 degrees, I can hardly keep my car on the road. Road groves shimmy the car back and forth so bad its scary, till they warm up a bit.

I was in DC last week and it was 30 degrees. I was in a hotel right of the interstate, so I jumped on the interstate at around 65 mph, and thought I was gonna kill myself. It was like I was riding on wagon wheels. Man them p-zeros are scary in the cold!

Tested this theory today in the 40s. Correct. No traction. Will test again tomorrow for a fair sample set.

I haven't swapped my snow tires on yet, I have my rear Pirellis up front and Nitto 555R's out back. Been down to 33F, no issues, but traction is way down.
