Am I the only one that has notice this?

Does this dash pic look familiar?
Look closely,
It is NOT from the Camaro SS

It is actually from my 2015 GMC Denali.

You would have thought GM would have put a different set of gauges in, to truly make it look unique.

I refuse to believe that car manufacturers share parts and design features throughout their line up.

Be happy they are sharing parts in their 30-40k car with a 70k truck and not a 20k economy car

They are similar but not exact, you can tell right away thats not a Camaro's dash. What would you expect from a GM car? Here is a Camaro's desplay.

You would be surprised what is shared. Generally gauges are one of those things. Camaro has a LOT of unique bits though, even surprised me. I thought for sure the center display would have been take right from the new Malibu/Cruze/Volt.

It's how they control costs. These new interfaces have so much in R&D, they have to use it in multiple platforms. Otherwise you're 40k car would be 60 for GM to turn a profit.

You want bespoke? You're in the wrong price bracket.

Exactly. At least they didn't pull an "Audi gauges in a Lamborghini" on us.

I think the Denali must be faster since the speedo goes to 200 and the Camaro only goes to 160.

The truck is in KM/h (Canadian) and the Camaro is in Mph (American)
