I was in the first batch.

Good news is the kits are now starting to ship.

My impression on parts and ease of installation -

It is a very NICE looking and beefy differential case!

The Drive shaft is a larger diameter, with universal joints instead of the fiberglass donuts.

Overall, not too bad to install. I only had an issue with one set of bolts that I fixed at home on my grinder - they were an 1/8" too long.

I also had to reposition part of the exhaust where it passes by the diff, as my exhaust was touching the case.

Out of curiosity, how much more does the differential weigh than stock?

the diff is about 30 lbs heavier.. and places the extra weight exactly where you want it.. down low in the back of the car.

I put a few miles on the new rear end setup at the fest.. It is way better than imagined! The "no preload" setup is the perfect setup for me auto crossing and road racing.

I called Lingenfelter about this kit today and they're saying it's another 4 weeks away. FYI

I've talked to a few and they said they love them, but these don't seem to be as popular as the 9 inch. I would also like to get some more feedback as well, have already had the dealer fix my stock rear under warranty and they won't do it again.

Well what can I say I kept waiting for something to break but it never did. Hundreds of hard runs with almost everything in the back stock except for axles, 3.70 LPE Gears in the stock diff and Pedders Coilovers. Even still have all stock bushings and they are still good.

Noticed everyone asking about 1-piece driveshaft. Lingenfelter told me to go 2-piece because I frequently drive at over 100mph for long periods.
Doing 4.10 gears for the good low rpm torque (in first) that the vortech lacks

The Auto is Pretty Easy on Parts.

How is the LPE 102 TB working out, PM me if you want.
