2010 SS M6 vs. 2011 G37x

My buddy thinks he can take me..... just curious if it would be close. All I have done is CAI intake and muffler delete, he is completely stock.

He will definitely get you out of the hole because of his AWD and if you get a good launch you might be able to reel him in towards the end of the "1/4" if you didn't spin too bad in the lower gears. From a roll you should have him covered. You are gonna have to be PERFECT to beat him from a dig.

You really think it needs to be a perfect run to get him? His 0-60 5.9, and 1/4 mile 13.9....... thats the best car and driver could come up with. I didnt think it would be as close as ur saying. Im putting $$ on this one, so i'll let u kno.(closed course....of course)

You should go from a slow roll, he wont have a fricken chance man! From a dead stop it might be close if you dont get a decent launch. Even if you mess up a bit, you still got him! From a roll youll leave him in the dust The only reason they run 13.9s is because they can 60ft, after that your LS3 will walk that import junk

You know how the saying goes for every 1/10th gained or lost in the 60 foot gets multiplied to 3/10th in the 1/4. If the G get's you by 2 car lengths out of the hole the race is already lost, sure you may have a better ET but he will get the win light.

Were talking about a car that is a hole second slower here, his SS has a cold air too, so say he has an 12.90-.85 car and his driving is pretty good, there is no match! Unless he gets treed by .5 there and is no way he would loose as long as he drives pretty good. I would hang up my racing helmet or go to driving school if I lost to a car that is hole second slower in a heads up race

G37x sedan can do 0-60 in 5 flat(in the 4s with some rather inexpensive bolt ons like K and N Air Intake or catback performance exhaust, one or the other) and 1/4 mile in 13.6-13.7(stock) TOPS. If you get a bad start then he may get ahead of you for a second, but you will win. Coming directly from a 3rd gen G owner myself. It's faster than a Camaro V6 but not anywhere near SS fast as speeds climb. The 2012 G37 will receive a power bump to 350 horsepower too, since the G is becoming so powerful Infiniti had to make the G25.

Does he have a G37x sedan or coupe ?? The coupe weighs like 250 lbs more and is slower than the sedan, and is slower by .2-.3 through the 1/4 mile.

I think you'll smoke his ass.

Don't get intimidated because they placed a very unique "X" behind the G37 name. It still lacks the POWER AND TORQUE you possess. Sure, it may have awd, but sorry, that will only go so far. All YOU need to do is launch the car like your suppose to and forget about him. Get the tires sticky first, real good, then start preparing his G37's obituary ,.....it lived a good life.

Then if he dare races you from a roll, you can hang it up and put the last nail in his coffin, it's over. LS3/L99s run lower average 1/4 mile times anyway with just a decent driver. And sure the G37s getting a 350hp power bump, but the great part is,....it won't be putting no where near that down at the wheels, yet LS3s put down 360hp to the rear and L99s 330-340. So either way,....you have the G37 covered. My L99 finds them very tasty after high noon!

I wasn't insinuating that the G was faster.
