Flying out mon. to pick up new SS - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

this will actually be my second 5th gen i sold sold my first with only 600 miles on it cause im so picky. i has 2ss silver, gm must just suck at painting cars there were flaws everywhere, and rear to door with the metallic paint just looked so bad that even a couple people asked if car had paint work.i m not some scumbags out there i baught at msrp minus usaa 750 rebate and sold at msrp minus 750 rebate. besides the paint i absolutly love the car (except for mpg.lol) but u dont buy this car for mpg. i luckily was able to find a 1ss rs ikn penn. victory red with black stripes with rs package, its actualy gonna save me almost 3k from 2ss. i like the leather but 2 cars seat sittin on leather from time to time would suck.and i dont car about bluetooth. i did love the gauges but from what i hear the wiring iss all there to add later. i will post pics when it get it

Have you seen this second one you're buying? I'd be very nervous buying a car that many miles away if I had such a bad experience with my first car.

no but this time car will get a good checkover before i sign papers.

You definitely should have checked the car out thoroughly before you bought the car. Otherwise, congratulations I guess...

when i got first one as most people when they get a new sweet car is just want to drive it not check it with a fine tooth comb because car is brand new, i have baught about 15 brand new cars in my day and never had this problem. im not upset and blaming anyone

Well on my CAMARO the paint is GREAT.But theres to VERY SMALL DENTS FROM THE MOLD

OR .its on both sides.rIGHT BY THE badging at the CAMARO top by the MAnd the car is BLACK TO.The way I look at it over all IT'S A VERY GOOD JOB ON IT

Good luck on the new car. Sort of a weird situation. I've had all GM cars in my life and there's been a few probs but never paint. Sorry you got a bad one. I would think they could have buffed it out for you.

i didnt mention but when it was trailered from gm. when the straped down car the must of fu_____ up cause it rubbed on bottom ground effects on both sides and put a hole on left side not to noticabe but very noticable to me
