Cool Magnuson Supercharger

I have been trying to find out more about the Magnuson R3100 Camaro supercharger. It was shown at the 2020 SEMA show. But I cannot find where it is being sold or a price. Anyone have any info on it? I contacted Magnuson will wait for a reply!!

Wink Kong 2650 LSA

I have not ruled out getting the Kong 2650 LSA supercharger with the Kong lid. I think the dual pass cooling of the air charge will be a big benefit! I think the 3.1 liter superchargers would help my 427ci engine produce more HP. So for now I will do more research and keep an open mind...
https://kongperformance.com/collecti...ce-lsa-tvs2650

Supercharger $5900
Lid Dual Pass $2800
Sensors and valve $500
Pulley $190 (3" 10 rib)
Fuel Rails $350
TOTAL $9740

Throttle Body $680 (Nick Williams 103mm)
Fuel Injectors $1,000 (ID 1150X)
TOTAL $11420

Optional:
Throttle Body $1000 (Kong)
Fuel Injectors $1700 (ID 1300X2)

I guess there are some major issues with the Eaton TVS3100 Supercharger rotors, just got a reply from Magnuson. They dropped the 3100 supercharger as well. So for now it looks like the Kong TVS2650 Supercharger is my best choice!

Did they say anything about the 2650 version?

This is the reply that I got from Magnuson.

"Thank you for contacting Magnuson Products.
The 3100 Supercharger System has been discontinued due to the TVS2650 being a well rounded system offering the most performance and efficiency a system can deliver.
Kind regards,
Magnuson Customer Support"

Hope this helps, every company that makes a 2650 is saying the same thing, but they all get their rotors from Eaton... So from their point of view it is best not to bite the hand that feeds you... So it may explain why they all made the same commit about not perusing the TVS3100.

I just confirmed with Magnuson that the Magnum PI 2650 will be available in the next couple months. I get to keep my stock hood

Talking Thank You!

Looks like it is going to be available soon! Price is nice for a complete kit! I wonder what is the largest throttle body you can attach, without machining?
https://www.magnusonsuperchargers.co...-62-158-bl.htm

CADILLAC CTS-V LSA AND CAMARO ZL1 MAGNUM TVS2650 SUPERCHARGER SYSTEM
Our Price: $6,495.00
Quantity in Stock:
Availability:: Call for Availability
Product Code: 01-26-62-158-BL

Supercharger $6,495
Sensors $300
Pulley (70mm" 10 rib) $120
TOTAL $6,915

Throttle Body $680 (Nick Williams 103mm)
Fuel Injectors $1,000 (ID 1150X)
TOTAL $8,595

Optional:
Throttle Body $1000 (Kong)
Fuel Injectors $1700 (ID 1300X2)

So about $2,925 less than the Kong was going to cost me.

Just heard from Magnuson that they have a 112mm to 120mm throttle body adapter for this supercharger. They are in the process of making an adapter plate for this piece to fit a 103mm throttle body.

Side note, The LSA kit does not come with injectors, intake air temperature sensor, 3 bar map sensor and supercharger inlet pressure sensor.

The sensors and injectors are included with the LS3 kit ($8,395).

It definitely is a better price than the Kong seeing that it includes the lid, as long as it performs as good or better that only time will tell.

Hello My Friend,

It is 92 octane boosted to 103, I looked and searched for reliable 85% but unable to find it. It is easier to just carry a few quarts of Boostane around with me.

I hope you put your vote in!

Hope all is going well for you! How is your fuel upgrade going? You may want to consider this piece.

Hey Vic, all is good except waiting for parts to finish the upgrade.
I'll put my best guess in.
