Bah... 2LT + RS is a bit too expensive for me...

Anybody know if you can get the Steering wheel audio control + USB connection for iPod and such with just the 1LT + RS?

Has anyone actually gone to a dealership and got employee pricing on one of these?? It's nice to look at lower numbers but are they attainable?

I didn't read the entire thread, but the spreadsheet is missing the IOM exterior cost of $325

and the college discount is supplier pricing, pretty much invoice? i got 27,439 for a 1LT,ABM,RS,Auto at invoice. closest # most likely to what it will cost when it arrives. and if i can get it in time of the 500 rebate will be just below 27

All together should be no more than $100. I think dealer fee is $50, and title and tag are about another $50. I know when I was researching it that was the total I came up with.

CAMARO CALCULATOR

I appreciate the "Hatters" hard work here in setting up this spreadsheet, it's cool, but the prices are not current.
There have been some price increases since that orig. scanned pricing sheet was shared with us on this forum.

We all should realize too, that there is another column that is missing in all of the talk about pricing on this forum, and that is the
Dealers Actual Cost!

The Dealer Invoice (Invoice Price) that they will show you, Is Not Their Actual Cost Of The Vehicle.

Another form of Dealer Profit source (some call it a "Spiff") is the "Hold Back"... Which amounts to an additional 3% of the MSRP...

or how about Charging you for the Wash & Wax or Paint Sealant (ADM)...

or Charging you to Scotch Guard the seats (on LEATHER? huh?) (ADM).

So from Actual Dealer Cost to MSRP Sticker / Plus the assorted "Spiffs" and Market Adjustments or Additional Dealer Margins (ADM) that the Dealer receives,
it's not just a couple of hundred dollars profit per car like they'd want us all to believe.

ALL of these DOLLARS add up to some pretty hefty Profit Amounts that goes directly into the Dealer / Owners Pockets, and not ours.

And Yet we still have to fight for every nickle of discount or incentive that we "might get", even though most of it is GM Sponsored Monies, and not the Dealers!

So NO, I don't believe them when they say there is no profit in selling cars @ MSRP, or god forbid "under".

Think of this... Do you really believe that these Taj Mahal Dealerships / Facilities could be built and maintained if the margins were so tight at "only a few hundred dollars per car"?

I call BS!

Ok, I'm a little confused. From what I understand is the RS package comes with 20" rims. So do I have to add "1" to both the RS package AND the 20" rim option or no? Just need a little clarification plz!
