FS: Recaro Pole Position ABE custom for Z/28 - PLUG AND PLAY!

**TAKING THESE OFF THE MARKET**

Mods - please feel free to delete post, or leave it up since they're still cool looking seats and relevant to Z/28 section.

These are real, direct from manufacturer, Recaro Pole Position ABE, which have been custom upholstered in leather and alcantara (to match OEM Z/28 seats), and have been embroidered with the Z/28 logo. These are the seats that GM should have put in the Z/28 from the beginning.

The Recaro Pole Position ABE is not available for purchase in the US. It differs from the standard Pole Position FIA model in that it has slightly wider dimensions, and was originally designed as an OEM seat. As an OEM seat, it works well with standard seatbelts, while typical Pole Positions (and most racing seats), do not have adequate provisions for a seatbelt buckle, resulting in the need for seatbelt extenders or other make-shift solutions that may impair the functionality of a seatbelt.

These were sort of the "holy grail" seat for me when I was in the market for racing seats, and it took significant leg work on my part to get them over here.

They are looking great with the Z/28-logo.

What do you estimate, how many cm is the height difference to the OEM seats?

Don't have an exact number but they are definitely lower...

I can measure from base of seat bracket to the bottom of the seat and maybe you can provide a comparison against your car

At least you are saving me some money and keeping me from going more in debt.
I really wanted these but I'm sure the time will come when I can get some when it's a less stressful time.
These are really beautiful seats.
Take care
John
