Listen to JaxJags:
Get the v8, It's obviously essential to have 120 more HP.
Food and clothing are just luxuries.
Everyone knows that.

Note from my fiance: Sounds like a good thought but I dare never request that. It's like asking a girl to wear only wet n' wild cosmetics or buy shoes from Walmart only, it just wouldn't make sense to a girl just like a v6 wouldn't make sense to a boy that wants a v8.

Back to me... See? My fiance is cool! I don't even know what wet n wild cosmetics are!

Priorities...if the car is strapping you guys he'll mod the v6 end up with a lot of money in it and not be as fast as an SS...just save up or go buy something else. You can get a smokin deal on a 2010 Mustang GT if you look around...maybe that would be the middle ground and compromise. Just being brutally honest.

Sorry blur but the wife is right on this one. Not only will it cost more to purchase ,but it will cost more to own. Higher insurance and more gas. Although when I was 24 I bought a brand new hotrod right after getting married. But, we had $70 a month for food after that. Needless to say the car didn't stay long. Good luck with what ever you decide and remember it's about the two of you as a unit now and not about yourselves.
