I didn't get my car back today, so I won't have video until tomorrow. The shop had to get a software update for my car from the place that writes the tune software. They called this evening and said they now have it. The Borla Touring exhaust is in as well as the Kooks headers. The are going to tune the car tomorrow afternoon and wait until I can get to their shop after work to watch and take video of the final runs on the dyno. I'll post those videos as soon as I get home. (I may be taking the long way home )

Exactly. I want my car to be bit more throaty. I think the headers will do that. But, I also want it to be quiet enough on a long trip that the drone doesn't drive me crazy. I just want to hear it a bit more when I step on it. I also want the added HP the headers and tune will give me. One other reason I'm putting the Borla exhaust on is that I really don't like the look of the stock mufflers. The Borla also has much nicer tips. So, some of this work is for performance, some sound, and some cosmetic. I hope it works!

Do you realize your AAC afterburners flicker to your engine RPM?

Speaking from some ignorance here.
I want to remove the rear cats when I replace the exhaust system. When this says cat-back I am assuming this is just from the rear cats. Do any of these systems come with pipes already made to replace the rear cats or does this have to be "pieced" in? |
