I just had it for the free trial and never renewed it when it expired. Just the other day I got an email saying I got a free 2 week trial and just ignored it figuring there was some catch. So yesterday i was in the car and I was tired of listening to my ipod so I decided to see if it was true and I had a lot of channels I don't think I had them all though but it was free.

I've had it in my truck for 1.5 years now and have probably lost signal twice, and I live out in the mountains. Sound quality is really good. Music choice is selective, but I've never had any of the problems you guys are talking about.

If you hate XM you must really hate "HD" cable... Pixelated compressed crap... Pandora is junk, if I select something heavy metal (Pantera, etc) I'm listening to cookie monster vocals in less than 3 songs... It is half price for the Camaro cause I have it in my Van (drive 3 hours a day minimum) I don't drive the car often but when I do it can me for an extended period and radio stations here BLOW. Jason Ellis XM-41 FTW

I have it, but hate customer service. Called today to deactivate a rental I had for a week. E tried to sell me 3 months cheap, incase I buy the car....i told him in America we don't by rentals, we rent them. Ended up giving it for free for my week, cause he couldnt figure out how to bill me for one week. fail.

I bought a 3 year plan right as the free 6 months expired. I will not renew. I listen mainly to Classic Rewind & the 80's channel. To listen to these channels you would think Bruce Springsteen was bigger than the Beatles, Elvis & Michael Jackson combined! You can't go an hour without hearing him.
I don't notice bad sound quality, (but then I just use it as background anyway), but I do notice the 15 second drop-out everytime I pass under a bridge or pass a high line of trees. XM will be getting no more of my $$.
