Mustang parked right next to me

So I go to Kohl's yesterday. I park in the back of the parking lot; no one around me for atleast 10-15 spaces. I walk out of the store after 20 min, and who parks in the spot right next to me? Mr 2012 Mustang GT.

I can't decide if this was supposed to be an 'eff you' , or perhaps a 'hey this will look badass with our two cars parked side by side back here' type of move. Anyone ever have a situation like that?

The one thing that made me happy is I know the side of my car he parked next to was safe since he certainly wasn't going to open his door into mine and damage his own car.

I'll do that sometimes...park right next to a sweet car in the back of the lot.

Don't take offense to it, I'm sure he's just as anal about scratches as you are.

I do the same almost every day, I find a nice car and park "near it" towards the back. I try to never park beside them though, unless it is unavoidable.

Also, it is always cool to come out and find a couple muscle cars parked next to one another, Regardless of Brand.

I see leaving a space in between is a sign of respect. If he parked right next to you he could be ****ing with you. He could also just be protecting you. Who knows lol.

...and leave space for a beater to fit in between? Properly parking next to the car is better, imo.

I always park near nice looking cars in the back. Just like two beautiful people should be seen together, two beautiful cars are better than one.

Sorry had to.

He probably didn't want a door ding and figured you'd be the last person that would door ding him, vise versa.

I took this pic a few years back at a store near my house. I think some guys just like to park together to protect each other. The Mustang owner that parked next to the OP probably took a pic like this one, and put it on a forum for car enthusiasts to appreciate.

In all honesty I tried to take one but my phone camera doesn't start up at 15% or lower battery life, so nothing I could have done at that point...damn it...
