No they won't. You can run slicks...lol. Would really be bad in a rain storm. I do have 2 extra tires not on rims just in case of a blow out while there.

Two days and a wake!!!

Are your cars ready? Are you ready? Checklist almost done?

TICK TOCK

Just think, in a few days the Camaro5 community is going to mobilize and meet up together @ Lucas Oil Raceway. For some, it will be the first time joining a venue of this magnitude, and for others, C5Fest have been an experience worthy of the word "EPIC", which has kept them coming back for more no matter where it has been hosted!

For the East coast, Canada, and New England Groups, and others who have joined our Md-Atlantic group, it will be a fun filled ride with many opportunities for memorable moments , and hopefully the longest Camarovan pulling into C5Fest!!!

Thanks to all those who will be part of this event, and thanks for starting my memories off right as we pull out of Fredericksburg on our way to "C5FEST3"!!!

So here is what I want you all to do for me....go and have a freaking blast!!! and drink one for me while me and my son have 2 weeks of father/son time

And someone grab me a 2 t-shirts!!

And I will probably swing by the hotel in Fredericksburg to say wassup and bring my little one as well

Hey things happen and you have to accept what comes your way...at least thats how I look at it LOL

Have fun and be safe!!!

Oh if anyone need a helmet ...they can borrow mines, but they have to give it back! LOL

OK guys and gals,Just a few little notes......

I've informed the local Sunoco,Exxon, and Shell gas stations that you all will be coming through to fill-up!
They said they will be waiting and have plenty of 93 octane premium

*As a side note,we will now be using the Sunoco located right across from where we will be eating lunch, instead of the one in town I posted earlier,it will be a lot easier to access (both entry and exit) and the lot is bigger!!*
http://www.gosunoco.com/locations/pa...ike-farmington

Also, the manager at the Exxon ask a favor of us.....not to pull in with 20-30 cars all at once, but rather 5-6 cars at a time, this will NOT be an issue as the Exxon station is right next-door to our dealership,so 5-6 can go first, then another 5-6 when they get back, etc, etc.
He said even though they have a large lot,it gets crowded with all the tri-axle dump trucks and rigs that come in for diesel, plus its the first day of the month, and everyone fills up with their assistance checks!

I will be waiting for you guys when you come off of I-68,Keysers Ridge, exit #14B

Ernie I'm assuming you'll be leading the pack? I'll just hop in front of you if thats alright?!?
I'll also give you a call probably around 8:30-9 o'clock to see where your at at that time,I'll be leaving from the dealership,it will take me about 45-50 minutes to get there from here. You also have my cell numbers if needed.
I'll also have my 2-way on channel 3,listening for you guys once I get up there.

Thanks everyone,see ya' all soon!!

Rich.

As long as they have plenty of 87 octane for my V6! Averaged 29-30 mpg on a trip down and back to Selma, NC. over the weekend....not like I'm rubbing it in or anything....

We can coordinate the flow of fill-ups, etc with people that have radios too.

No problem with 87 here
I haven't had mine on any long road trips yet,but when I've been on the interstate a few times going to my buddies, which is about 75 miles away,I averaged the advertised MPG for an SS w/6M trans. of 24,and around town I get around 17-18.
Still a whole lot better than what my VMAX 6-liter Silverado averages......15-16 :(

Absolutely,The stations I picked are not only easy to get to,but also have fairly large lots.
Just like most towns, some of our gas stations lots are so small that when you get 3-4 cars on them at the same time......your gridlocked!
The guy at Exxon said that if I wouldn't have called him it wouldn't have been a major issue if everyone pulled in at once,it will just make it easier if only 5-6 cars are there at a time, and since the dealership is next to it thats not a problem!
