I actually ordered in Sterling, VA. I have alot of family there and was able to get a spot in the original allocation. I put an order in Fayetteville but the dealer over sold their guide number by like 20 or 30. Reed-Lallier is charging way over MSRP. Fayetteville is so messed up to me. We buy all of our new cars either out of city or out of state.

Got No TPW either and my car will be here next week... if you are not in canada you are not going to get one... If they tell you something i would not believe them. Just sit and wait a Vin will come. I don't wanna see everyone getting excited for nothing. UCF is right with his quote...

I called the GM customer service line this morning and they said I had a TPW of June 29th. I know these haven't been reliable as of late, I'm still extremely excited anyways, but does this mean I have moved from 3000 or am I still there? The GM rep had no idea about status codes or anything when I asked her. Thanks in advance for helping.
Sorry, a little off thread, but I would like to know phone number for customer service. I'm at 3000, but don't know my TPW. Thanks!

I went through Powers Swain .. did not like the 2K deposit requirement at Reed Lallier and no MSRP guarantee. So, fingers are crossed that Powers Swain does me right after all this waiting for the car.

I am so frustrated! As some of you guys might know I am a salesman at Chevy dealer.I have sold a few members of this board their 5th Gens. I have been trying to get a TPW for weeks now for a customer of mine. I keep checking Order Work Bench and calling the DBC "aka Don't Bother Calling" I keep getting the response, "We are not currently giving out TPWs on Camaro" In fact they tell me there is a TPW on the car but they just won't tell me what the dates is. The car I am calling about is in fact at 3300 scheduled for production. So I read this post and decide to call GM Customer Service in behalf of my customer. After being on hold for the first 20 min I get bounced to someone else. They tell me that they can’t help me....GRRR. So I ask to speak to a supervisor. They tell me since I am a dealer they can’t help me. They tell me to call the DBC Dealer Business Center. I am about ready to explode at this point. I ask her "So If I was the customer you would be willing to help me out?" Her response in very broken English "Yes sir I would, but you are a dealer" I respond "I am calling on behalf of a customer, trying to help him out" Her response "I am sorry sir" At this point I was on the phone for over 30 mins on and off hold. I am sorry to rant guys, but I am upset because I want to give my customers as much info as I can and to make sure they are 100% completely satisfied.
So good luck getting those TPWs!!!

Update...

I called the DBC the Dealer Business center for I bet the 10th time of the past month. I beg them for a TPW I explain to them what just happened. I must admit I was a little dramatic and aggressive with them. It paid off!!!! I got a TPW for my customer!

Kevin

And I just got off the phone with Kevin - thanks so much for the great info! For me, and I suppose most of us, it's not about holding GM to the fire that the car must be built on day X, it's a matter of just keeping your customers informed who want to be informed.

Kevin, aka KBearZ28 who works for John Sauder Chevrolet in Ephrata PA, is bar none the best salesman I've had the pleasure of doing business with. He's one of the most enthusiastic and genuine salesmen out there, and I have to say "Thank You!" for your perseverance in getting me the TPW and continually keeping me informed!

If anyone reading this thread is interested in working with a top notch dealer, Kevin still has allocation for orders and has a beautiful SIM 2LT/RS on the way that's not yet spoken for!

I would think we would be the same chrisinlittlerock, we both made 2000 and 3000 on the same day. The GM lady told me it could be sooner because of the production ramp up.

I'm at about the same as you two as well....
