hey that sounds pretty good, ive heard the chambered muffs are not optimal in high HP applications, if i dont like it i will pull the muffs off and figure out something else. for some reason the flowmasters sounded better on bbc sbc motors. i think it is because of the different firing order.

3"exhaust all the way back, kooks,3x3cats,FAT

Well I got it done. Used a piece of cardboard for a pipe wrap to mark a square cut on the tubes. Sawzall worked better than my harbor frt chopsaw. Welds are not as pretty as my test welds, they were a little out of position. they will hold however. I was going to use a lap joint at the cat, but figured if I did that, the only way I could disconnect the exhaust would be at the cat-header connection. I did not like that, so I did a butt joint and the torctite band clamp. i also took a piece of an old torctite clamp 1.5"x1.5" and placed it directly under the bolts in case there might be a exhaust leak there. yeah I know I will probably rotate the band clamps so they are not sticking down.

Thanks Corey, kooks have a 3" collector then clamp to cats that are 3"x2.5" they should clamp to your outlaw catback. If you want 3" all the way back you have to do as I did (and get3x3 cats)

Did you happen to use the Kooks gasket? If so, keep an eye on it. Many aftermarket header gaskets have a tendency to leak. The OEM one is much better at sealing. Most of us just reuse the old one.
