i just cleaned mine off and sprayed 3 coats of primer and 3 coats of white and added a light clear coat.

Here is my bid. About 10 hours total. Adhesion promotor and paint from Automotivetouchup.com. 3 coats primer, sanded each time, and three coats of each color of paint, plus 2 of clear coat. One hell of a multilayered tape job. Gotta account for the trench between the sections. I also scraped off Chevy circle at the start and reinstalled with 3m body tape after taping and painting it. Grabbed the cover used for just $29. Paint materials were about $80. Lots of patience and tlc.
