Then I'd be driving a pink Stingray to a body shop for a 10K paintjob.

Sooo funny you start this thread...
I actually went in to order a C7 and then found out the wait and way mark up over MSRP and then to top it off everyone at my dealer that was on the list was at least 65 years old + Please no offense to the older gentlemen here.... Just proved to me that I need to wait until I am retired to have a proper corvette - (yes there is still apparently a stigma with a vette) Ha and yes "family car" is a bit more practical with me being 39 and 2 young ones at home although this is my toy and 4th vehicle in garage. Anyway it was not an easy decision as that C7 is incredible but man cant imagine parting with my 1LE now either..... |

lol . camaro as a family car. i wouldnt trade for the vette, as i to, have a 9 yr old son, and need the back seat. just got the new 13 2 LT vert. it is not the most practical car in the world, but, it is a car and can fit him and me in it, even with a small suitcase and a cooler in back seat. have a 98 firebird, and took road trips from kansas city to Indiana, and Ohio with him. i strap on a portable DVD player on headrest on seat, and with a cooler and drink and suit case, we traveled. just the 2 of us. the camaro has smaller trunk than hatch back on firebird, but, it still can be taken on road trips
