Ebay ZL1 CF hood

http://www.ebay.com/itm/10-13-CHEVY-...058994&vxp=mtr

This thing is a brand new release. I've been looking at hoods on ebay every day for the past week and this just popped up now. Don't know much about the company, but it could be promising. The seller does have some negative reviews, but they are all regarding Polyurethane pieces. There are no negative comments regarding carbon fiber.

1) Whether the insert is removable
2) If the vents are functional
3) If so, if there is a water deflection tray or if the OEM water deflection tray can be mounted to it.

I'll update the thread here when I get a response

Look at the sellers feedback as well.
I was about to buy a hood on eBay but decided to check how the figment was for their other hoods.

Overall his feedback is good. The other thing is that they guaruntee fitment on it, or your money back. They have to do this with carbon fiber hoods, because you cant really do any body work on them to make them fit.

Well I think given that it's just a bolt on, I'm not surprised it comes without instructions. What's more concerning is "Grade A+ Carbon Fiber". What does that even mean?

Nobody has. There's another thread about that one already.

its obviously a pop off the ZL1 hood (carbon creations)....on the red car you can see the hood lines not matching the SS.

Yup. I'm not a huge fan of how the entire CC hood is carbon though, it would be nice if the insert wasn't. The listing for the ebay hood I found has ended though. And there doesn't appear to be any others. I also never received a response from the seller.

Nope. I may be ordering it though, if I can get some information from the vendor here that sells it. Just received this message from the seller of the other hood...
