Magnetic ride
Hey guys. I just joined the forum. I'm with NY 5TH Gen. I figured it's always good to expand ones horizons. Anyway I have an issue I could use some input with. I got rear ended pretty hard way back and got the car back finally. I wasn't sure at first but more and more I feel like the ride isn't as stuff as it was. It's as though it's always stuck in touring mode. I'm going to Robert chevy on the 27th to have it looked at along with an oil change and inspection. I don't really know if they'd be able to help though and was looking to actual camaro owners seeing as most of you do most your work with your own two hands. Any ideas on how to remedy this or what it can actually be. Thanks in advance.

Are either one of the lights on for the touring or sport mode?

Yea all lights function fine and I can go through all modes including holding down the button and turning it all off. But the car drives the same.

Well....I was going to suggest that your Suspension Control Module behind your passenger tail light inside the trunk may have lost it's programming....but being that your lights are on and moving back and forth that it's probably fine. But you might want to go in and have the module reflashed anyway. That's what they had to do to mine when it wigged out.... but neither of my lights were coming on....

Damn. Well I guess I'll see what happens this week when I take it in I don't wanna leave without this being taken care of. I was hoping to arm myself with some solutions. Thank you for the idea I'll have them do it anyway.

You should definitely notice a difference just switching from your to sport. Gets even stiffer in PTM 4-5. Could be malfunctioning shocks.
