Before looking up Michigan plate styles It looked to me like the plate had a blue strip above. Looks to be 6 characters xx xxxx (space in between 2 and 3) of course this isn't a perfect analysis and going off only my eyes and the video.

I really hope the R/T owner if pulled over for the others offense gets cleared thanks to C5 and the original poster. Would love to hear from that person too if it is the case.

Actually that is a Scat Pack Challenger. Hellcat does not have chrome exhaust tips and you can see the dip in the spoiler. Also the hellcat emblem is not chrome, but the Scat Pack bee is.

Yep, as others have said, the car that was caught wasn't the same car that passed you. If you speak with the officer and get the piss-off response, speak with his supervisor.

They need to do the job right!

Also, I think it was either a Hellcat, SRT392 or Scat Pack.

The original Kowalski was a washed up druggie...I think the Vigo Mortensen re-make was better. I could like Kowalski in that one.

Anyway, I tried really hard to not mind the music. But now I need to find the bleach and some q-tips for my ears!

....but I hope the 'wrong guy' didn't get arrested.

It is 100% a Michigan plate. That is where I work and that is where it happened. Should know more on Monday but unsure if there is a way to clean up the still image to clean up the pixels a bit and at least make out a few of the plate numbers to ease the process of finding the guy.

Can't be too hard to find with partial plate number when you know to limit search to a Challenger Hellcat or Scat Pack.

I think the Canadian reference is due to the km/h the dash cam was set to/ OP location is Ontario.

I thought Hellcat at first but the screen capture does vfy that it is the Scat Pack. The dip in the spoiler and chrome tips are clearly visible, the emblem not as much but does look more like the bee than Hellcat head.

I tried everything I could to get a clear image of the plate and nothing worked. He was scootin and the image is too blurred. Maybe someone else will have better luck.
