Same issue on my 2014 when I did the Z/28 style spoiler. Some are worse than others, but any damage is really a faulty design with the gasket. That should have solved it, but it really does not apparently.

Read this.
Paint Flaking Under Spoiler. Mine is doing the same. I pulled it to install a Z/28 spoiler. It is covered under warranty. I am picking mine up from the dealer today.

It means you go really fast quite often haha there was already a thread about this months back. Someone figured it out it was caused by the downforce created while driving. the faster you go, the more downforce, which pushes the spoiler down ever so slightly, just enough to rub on the paint. the more paint thats chipped means you've gone very fast more than just a few times haha

Mine is quite bad, also. It's common with all years and models with a spoiler. I just put it back on and pretended like it wasn't even there

I disagree. Mine was covered with TSB. No charge.
Made a post quite a while back.

Well went to the dealership today and explained what was going on and showed the service manager the photos. He called his lead mechanic and the GM of the dealership to his office, as I waited in the service bay they came out after 5 mins and said they will repaint the entire trunk lid and warranty it out! Now this is NOT the dealership I purchased the car from.
My thing is the 2010-2011 TSB had over 1500 people submit a complaint about the spoiler rubbing issue and they made a kit with adhesive rubber. My theory is if enough people go to dealerships and point this manufacture defect out they will be forced to issue a TSB. So I'm happy to report that the dealership took care of me perfectly! What was that you were saying sunshine? It might be normal but its a manufactures defect and is covered under the bumper to bumper 3/36000 warranty. I don't know about you but when I buy something and it has a warranty and has problems from the factory I have the right to get it fixed. But hey Automobile companies like guys like you, drive off the lot and never see you again! Hope you have a great weekend, don't let anyone piss in your post toasties in the morning!

Has anyone had this TSB done on a 14 SS after 36,000 miles?

Looks like what happens when you apply something to paint that hadn't cured long enough. Good thing you guys are finding these things!

They'll just tell you that removing the spoiler is considered modifying and have now voided your warranty.

Your paintjob looks like it was sprayed with a rattle can, I'd be more about that if I were you.
