A new dilema
This occurred to me today. Some day I'll get old enough to need to park in the handicap zone. But right now I always park as far back in the lot as I can. Eventually I'll have to make that choice: do I park up front and risk door dings (and wheelchair and walker dings) just so it's not a painful walk to the store, or do rough it and keep my Camaro blemish free? What would YOU do? Maybe I'll keep a hoverboard in the back seat and keep parking out in the boonies.

I have a handicap sticker that I got 3 years ago I am now 48. If I was you I would park far away. But what pain would be worse the way you feel after you walk to the car. Or the pain of seeing someone dinged your car. Only you know the answer to that. Even before I got the sticker I never took my car to any store. So I am guessing this is your DD

I agree with others. Always park way far away. My pops has a 67 El Camino he is in his late 70's. Still parks in the boonies!

If there is ever a chance someone may be able to park near me I use these homemade devices using spare parts from my home hot water heater install project.
They slide apart and fit in trunk. Very light. Have four vehicles but only use the door ding protectors on the Camaro because it is allergic to dings. Ron
