Mirror Size Difference

Side mirror size difference, something - you learn every day. The height is the same just passenger one is longer. Go figure!

The cost of doing just about any substantial upgrade and what owning one has done to my wallet. That said, I could always have used a bit more self control, but what fun is that?

Actual gripes:

L99 is an L99. Automatic should have come with an LS3, simple as that. Auto owners already have to contend with the increased drive train loss on HP/TQ. But thanks to GM, the US Govt., and the GG Tax, we have 26HP less from the factory as well.

Want a cam upgrade? Well prepare to pay triple what the LS3 owners pay so you can have your engine converted to an LS3, thanks to the crappy lifters GM blessed us with. Although the trade off is having VVT, if you can find a tuner that is actually capable of taking full advantage of the technology.

Passenger seat is not height adjustable.

Throwing myself in the seat while avoiding the wheel and not hitting my head.
OR... any right angle parking exit attempt. You can look over your right shoulder and strain all you want but it is still a "please don't hit me" event.

Going from a LS to a SS, where I always kept my sunglasses is now 4 gauges that could just be on the center screen.
The updated center console liner: was nice thick rubber now flimsy crap.
No handle inside the trunk to close without leaving finger prints (debadged bowtie so dont say to pull on that haha)
Bluetooth sometimes disconnects my music after making a phone call.
And finally, AFM!!! STOP MAKING MY SS SOUND LIKE A HONDA!!! Will be tuned out as soon as financially possible.

It doesn't have a forged, stroked, blown motor in it yet.

I hate that I like it so much that I don't even want to take it out in the rain, 2015 2SS/RS only 4200 miles not even a rock chip on the front end. Becoming a garage queen.

The things I disliked have been fixed: -Tuned out AFM
-Installed better exhaust
-Lowered with upgraded suspension
-Removed bowties & put on Sparks SS emblems
-Switched to Convertible rear spoiler
It's all good now :-)

I never have understood the fascination with such a device.

Maybe it's my experience, but I always know how fast I am going and my ears tell me how fast the motor is spinning.

When I went to pick up my Camaro the salesman asked if I wanted a test beat. Of course, I replied. Makes no sense to buy a brand new car and have a rattle before you get home.

So I pull out and whack it. Shift to fourth. The salesman points to the right and says, "Cop" (which I had already seen). I looked down at the DIC and said, "thirty six" in a 35.

As for RPMs, when it quits accelerating it's time to upshift.
When I learned to drive the only gauges the 1963 C30 had were a speedometer, odometer, and gas. And we got along just fine.

I use my HUD solely for MPH, I can't read the regular gauge quickly.

Mine were tearing away from the seat back when I bought the car. The seat backs were replaced under warranty and now they're tearing again. And I never use them. The seat belts have never been put through them since they were replaced. Yet the stitching is stretched and the leather is torn.
I had custom seat covers from Katzkins and they did exactly the same thing within a month. I suggested that they make leather slip over covers that could be replaced. They warrantied my seat cover. I just don't use it any longer and used a couple of paper binder clips to keep the seat belt from retracting and that seems to work.

The other issue I have had is something someone else mentioned. The shoes rubbing the rubber door seal getting in and out. The doors are so long, it is hard for them to open all the way in most parking spaces and you wind up dragging shoes across the seal. Mine was replaced under warranty at about 15K miles. Have vertical doors now and not as much of an issue.
