At about 2600 miles, a dull "clunking" noise suddenly developed. Unlike what has been reported here many times, the sway bar link bolts were all torqued tightly. The sway bar (bushing?) was "broken". I had one of the best dealer service experiences that I have ever had. The dealer, Quirk Chevrolet in Braintree, MA, noticed the problem right away, ordered a new link and installed it two days later (when the part arrived).
I am absolutely loving this car. It's freakin awesome. After 5 Pontiac GTOs, I am giving my beloved 2006 GTO to my grandson tomorrow - it's still in the family!!

Why would you accept delivery on a vehicle with those issues...

headliner affects all Camaro trim levels ..I think a tsb will be posted soon if not already.. my zl1 has the same issue .. also the loose nut on the sway bar.
I'm just going to wait till my windshield needs to be replaced for the headline .. since its a daily driver.

Sorry to hear of these issues for you. I have almost 5000 miles on my ZL1 now and no issues what-so-ever. I have actually been impressed with the build quality and was just talking to someone yesterday about how far the car has come from the creaking flex-mobiles of the 1980.

The only thing I have found (so far) is a thumb print in the clear coat on my rear bumper...

A search of the North Detroit PD's fingerprint database has determined the perp was pajama boy.

2,300 miles and I'd have trouble finding something to complain about. Definitely nothing wrong with the build quality on mine. Sorry to hear others have had issues. |

Oddly, a couple of my rear panels don't all line up flush with each other and where they meet the drivers door.

That's a common issue with the headliners on the Camaros. My wife's 2016 isn't quite as bad but still noticeable. GM really needs to remedy that issue with the headliner supplier. Looks really cheap.

I think a better solution rather than removing the windshield and subsequently the headliner is to have a wider weather stripping that will cover the edges of the headliner. It's definitely cut too short I agree but I'm not having my car disassembled for that reason. I'll just live with it. Disappointing for sure.

I have a nasty embedded dirt spot on the rear of the trunk lid - a couple inches to the right of the brake light. There were also a few spots that were oval and dull, and looked like a buffer burned them or something. I've tried some correction on those, may do more. But what might be most annoying is that at the very front of the plastic fascia, just near the very point of the nose of the car - there are two raised bumps. Looks like something is pushing or did push up from below (like improperly adjusted bolts).
I'm going to have the local dealer look at them and we can discuss options. The big problem with the front defect, is that if the answer is to replace the part - I'm screwed, because I have very expensive paint protection film on the car and would be completely out of pocket for that. I'm trying not to let a few little things dilute my love for this amazing car, but I will say that GM still has no clue what QC means.

I can't complain much. The major stuff is perfect. I have 3 spots in the paint that are dull looking. 2 of them are nearly impossible to find after applying some wax. 1 is way less noticeable, but still there.
I've found some terrible runs on the bottom edges of my hood. Most are in the heat extractor opening and a couple less severe ones are on the front edge near the hood latch. Probably just leave them alone, as the heat extractor ones are very hard to spot and the others aren't as bad, and only noticeable when the hood is open. I've also had the clicking issue while turning. Didn't pop up until over 2000 miles. Not an issue really, as cleaning the mounting surface of the front wheels and the rotor hats where the wheels contact them has solved it for now. Pretty easy to do yourself and I only heard it when turning pretty sharp at a pretty good pace with the stereo off.
