I swear I have looked at hundreds of pictures and I've yet to see someone with a stock front chrome / stainless grill.

To tell you the truth I did not even notice the difference until I started looking at pictures and noticed my front stood out, then I noticed every other car I look at is black!?

There is no way I can be the only one, anyone else? How the hell did I get it?

BTW - I love the way it looks and seem to make my car somewhat rare. The only thing I need to do is change the bowtie color ASAP.

Yes, car was purchased new last week, 17 miles on it.

It's aftermarket. GM does'nt install chrome grill on the line. Maybe installed by dealer and if you bought used, the previous owner did the mod. But can't be from GM.

I know 1 member whos has chrome....fadi.

The car was brand new. Also it does seem to be OEM as it does not look like anything was removed on the car, all tabs and screws seem untouched.

Not that I am complaining, but what the heck

makebe it was a dealer installed option like a body kit or raceing strips if you truely want to know ask the dealer who sold it to you but i did not even know crome grills was a dealer add on option like stripes (if be the case) if so i may do that lol i want crome grills

I was at the GM Oshawa Meet last june and there is now way they have this chrome grill installed. Taking off the whole front facia is a very easy task, half an hour to do.

So i suggest you check with your dealer...

I'm going to check with my dealer. My car was built on 2/1/2011, could this have been something new added since your visit?

I'm telling you, there is 0 indication the facia was taken off. The dust is constant on all screws and tabs.

But assuming the was done by the dealing, why would they have done it? And if this is aftermarket, can they sell as new without disclosing that.

my car is an 03/11 built and its still black so i dont know and your right it should be on your window sticker

I like chrome but not in this case. They took the worst part of the Camaro (the grille) and made it jump out at you. Anyone think teeth ?
