That's a tuff decision.
I love the heated leather seats, so the 2SS is someting I'd want. The 4 guage pod is also nice because it gives you oil temp and trans temp. |

1SS/RS.
The general public can't differentiate a 2SS from a 1SS and will more likely recognize the red lettering. Also, the RS is an appearance package, the 2SS is more comfort oriented. So, go from there.

your buying a car thats in the mid to high 30's.....if you can afford a 2SS.....certainly you can afford the extra $1300 and get it all!!

1SS/RS.
Getting the 2SS without the RS would seem like you are missing out on part of a fully loaded car. Getting the 1SS with the RS is a stripped down hotrod with all the cool stuff added. My 11 has the Hurst shifter, polished wheels, and RS package. Everything I wanted and a few grand cheaper! |

Whatever you want, but...
Getting a 1SS/RS and adding 2SS features sounds like an upgrade. Getting a 2SS and adding RS features... seems more like cloning. If you plan on mods down the road... jus' sayin'.

I'm happy with my 2SS non RS car. I don't miss the $800 headlights that the RS package has.

trust me, the leather seats are worth it. i would get the 2SS without the RS package. you can always add the lights later on like i did.

With 2SS you get leather seats, bluetooth, homelink, heated seats, 4-pack guages, heated mirrors, premium 9-speaker sound w/ steering wheel controls, USB port
With RS you get upgraded headlights and a different color paint on the wheels You decide...

Get the 2SS, $800 for the lights seems like a waste to me too and I have seen very few ss cars without the rs package, I like the white badge.
