Saw this on Popular Science Facebook page. It is the Icon A5. Two seater, 500 mile range, water or runway capable, $200k.

That is a really cool airplane!

Have you guys seen this? It's the Radial Rocket. It's a homebuilt. I think it's bad-ass. It looks like a mini-Bearcat.

Pretty cool 360 degree video of cockpit of A360.

Had to link directly to Youtube, because the 360 stuff doesn't work when embedded in the forums.

Link to video

Gulfstreams are bad-ass sexy. All wings and engines. I really want to fly one, but I don't know if I want that lifestyle.

OP, where were these pictures taken? I'm pretty sure I recognize that desert, as funny as that sounds.

They call him "Thong", because he gets into those hard to reach places

It varies from job-to-job, but corporate aviation is a well-kept secret. I'm leaving money on the table compared to the highest-paid airline guys, but I make north of $1,000/flight hr (but salaried) and average 5ish days of work per month. There are some months I don't work at all.

We get to see the world but also have more time at home than any airline guys. I wouldn't trade it for anything at this point.

I get that man. I always fly with people who keep talking about picking up trips. I'm always thinking, "What's that? Why would you want to work more?"

I'm old enough to feel like every night I'm away from home is time I lose from being with my family. I will NEVER get that back. NEVER.
