Indeed, I'll post much more information when the time gets closer. If you go to the very first post, you will find the links to last year's two topics, the one before the show (which shows all the planning info, including meet up points) and the one after the show (which has all the pictures of the good time).

And if you notice how we all have very similar profile pics? That's what we did before last year's show

Hi Nick,
add me to the "will attend" list... I still havn't seen the racing schedules for all of my clubs yet, but I'm probably going to attend this show, as we had a great turnout and an even better "after the show" party/cookout last year.

Most likely I am NOT running with the SCCA this year.. but the SCCNH car club that race almost exclusively at NHMS, in order to save $$$.

Thinking out loud..

I think this should be the show for NEC5 car show w/trophies - "a car show within a car show". You need to be a NEC5 member to participate in the rewards. We could do the NEC5 show at the event, or after at the "after" party, if we are doing the same thing again this year...

We need to get classes and headcounts to form the trophy classes, and decide which location we are going to hold our NEC5 show this year.

Jim just noticed that he wasn't on the list. So Chevy 3s bro Jim should be on the list. He has taken a trophy each year in the name of nec5. We really need to start talks on a after party spot.

600 - sounds like a good idea. I like idea of doing at the after party, but we can leave that up to the rest of the group.

As for SCCA - I know Paul and Chuck both signed up with them. We'll need to count on you guys for this year's schedule. We must do another group thing at one of the autocross events! At least one! Dan, can anyone run with SCCNH? Maybe we get to run the track there after all (or do they just do their events in the lots?)

SCCNH is a lot smaller - no more than 60 cars and you HAVE to be a member.

We still can do 1 event with the SCCA at Devens - I'll get the schedule. It is online.

I have attended the car show at NHMS when they have their vintage race weekend - you can do a parade lap then at no cost. You can also watch some pretty nice race cars run around the track.

The other group I am going to run with is COMSCC - they do laps on the NHMS road course AT SPEED - they are timed runs against the other cars in your class. I still need to do a little more to my car to be ready for that, and it's not cheap - $250.00 per day to run.

it's easy at this point...but I think we'll move the time table back by 1/2hour, just to get there a tad earlier.

EDIT - now that I think about it, we waited for the Western Mass crew for probably a half an hour. We might be able to keep the same time table as last year, as long a you guys make it in on time this year...?
