Hello from Maryland
Hello Everyone!!!
I am sooooo happy to be here, because that means I have a Camaro!!! I picked up my ZL1 this past Monday. I used to have a 1993 Mazda MX6 and it served me well, but I was afraid that it would soon become a money pit. So, last year I started looking for a new sports car to buy. I settled on the Camaro and saw that a new model, ZL1, would be coming out this year so I said I would at least wait until this year and actually, the purchase was not supposed to happen for another year as I had some other goals to meet. Well, I made that huge mistake of going to the dealer last Saturday - just to maybe sit in one, see how it felt and all and to check out the two reds. I was initially set on a red SS after I decided I really did not NEED the ZL1. Well, they did not have any SS coupe's, just some convertibles and this beautiful black ZL1 on the showroom floor. We found a red SS up in PA that seemed to meet my needs but I could not help but be drawn to the ZL1. I returned Monday to make the purchase and got in about $1000 under MSRP. I am just loving the ride!!! Glad to be here!!

compudiva, CONGRATS on the new ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
 oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!
