Some things that I can advise you I live on the south side of Chicago and guess what ive dealt with my share of bad experiences from having a beer bottle thrown at me to getting my bumper cracked. 1) Use your insurance to your advantage 2) Don't retaliate we both know the type of people in Chicago and never know what they have on them. 3) CPD don't even bother with them just a waste of time 3) Don't entertain this idiot but don't let him walk over you.

this is perfect.. you just gave me and ideal since my car is close to my house i can put a wirless camera in the car and in the window ledge and have the video feed going to my server which i can monitor from my phone.. I love this forum you guys are very helpful and we share the same passion about our cars..

You're right, you shouldn't have to deal with crap like that in a private parking garage. That's why it's good to have a paper trail for the property manager to look at and see that you're not just exaggerating and that there really is a "bad aple" living on the property.

Depending on the number and severity of the "complaints," the property owner can figure out who the problem is and possibly take action against them, like eviction.

I hope you get it all sorted out before it gets out of hand

Dude I have the same problem, mostly Mustang owners. They get to the point where they will try to catch up to me and pass by my car all fast. I let them go...not every single one tho! LOL... But the ashes on the car thats BS, did it damage the paint? Smoldering ashes will bust the paint.
