Hard shifting to 2 gear???

I have noticed its hard to get into 2nd gear when accelerating hard . to the point of hearing gears grind. Am I doing something wrong?

Pushing the clutch in far enough?

All jokes aside, I have the short throw shifter (2015 ss) and I notice that sometimes it's more difficult to get into second then any other gear (when accelerating hard). I fixed it by just pushing in the clutch a little further and that solved the issue.

I have had the same issue. No big deal really I have heard of this issue on here more times than I can remember. Just press that clutch in a tad more!

I've noticed the same issue on the track, especially when coming out of a turn hard. Only second gear. Figured it's either a minor issue with the syncros or just the factory gear cut. Never been more than a nuisance, and is not to the level of a problem I even feel like talking to the dealer about (don't want him seeing my catch can...). Again, I've only noticed it on the track, never on the street.

Sounds to me like you might be dealing with a worn synchro. Then again last time I had this problem it was the goddamn floormat
