Replacement Boston acrostic blown speaker
I need to find out where do I get BA speakers from. My right speaker in my passenger door is blown and I need to replace it but don't know where to buy it. So you guys can direct me that would be great.

Try any GM dealership. I am sure they can order one for you if they don't have them in stock.

There are some on ebay right now. You could also put a WTB post in the for sale section - a lot of folks upgrade so there are probably some people with speakers on their shelf that would take a few $ to get rid of one.
But the best bet would now take the time and upgrade the speakers in both doors. |

Time to upgrade your front speakers. That's what I did when my front one went.

I personnaly like the Alpine SPR-60 6.5" you can get them for around $110 for the pair. I'm sure everyone is going to have thier preference though so get what you like.

I have to say, I am really underwhelmed with this BA system. I'm not sure if it's the speakers, but the rears are AWFUL. Bass is distorted at same levels where the fronts are reasonable. Don't think they are blown, wondering if the amp is not very strong and is clipping. But I expected more for $.

I'm guessing its probably the amp that is the weak point in the system.

i have a pair of ba 6.5 apeakers if your interested. taken out a week after I got the car... pm me if interested... I will treat you right... they are as new as you could get
