fog light override for non-rs?
first of all what does the fog light switch actually do in a non-rs in the daylight, nighttime, with auto light control/off.
ad is there a way to modify the relays so i can turn the fogs on/off at any time whether the drls(head light) are on or not? |

In auto light control off mode, pressing the foglight switch will still turn on the foglights and parking lights.
I took the spring out of my headlight switch to keep my DRLs from coming on (bad for HIDs). I keep the headlight switch in the off position and manually turn on my lights. Even with the knob in the off position, I am able to turn on/off the foglights as I desire without the DRLs coming coming on. I have a 2010 model, so I don't know if the 2013s are setup the same.

Last time i could check a non-rs (it was a 2012) the fog light switch just turned the fog lights on and off regardless of day or night time or auto light control.

ok well the issue I have is that the fogs turn off when HI-beams are turned on (non-rs). I want them to stay on even when the HI beams are on

That is a normal condition. If you want fogs + high beams you will have to wire your foglights through a separate switch.
