Oh yes.... at WOT and with this beast in Track setting on PTM Race mode, all hell breaks loose. Literally!

I guess the take home lessons are:

1) Read the manual -- track mode is not for the streets/roads.
2) Leave the nanny's on until you have a feel the car.
3) Always be prepared to lift...quickly!

Sorry he wrecked his new car, but glad it is repairable. I bet he's , I would be.

He apparently did have TC on, however I've been reading that that only works in 1st gear. Once he hit 2nd, all that shit was off and he spun out.

On the lifting part, more often than not that can actually cause you to spin out more than just letting off the throttle partially and trying to control the car.

exactly. sometimes lifting will cause snap oversteer which can be a serious issue. sometime the best option is just staying on the throttle and work it out.

You can't use LC unless it is in track mode, which has very reduced TC/Stabilitrac. And when I say lift, I mean reduce the throttle, not completely get off it. He seemed to stay full throttle even once it started to spin.

A supercharger with high HP is a different driving experience to me also. When that thing starts whining/making power, it's like You have to be ready for it! Good idea about going to school with a car like that!
