No surprise there, I have been to at least 12 shows this year and only a couple trophies were given to anything newer then 2000 model year. So I go and show and bail after a couple hours. If they want young blood they need to give some love to the late models...js

Your point about attracting young blood is spot on. I've been arguing this for years. If you want these types of events to continue, you need to attract a younger audience. And younger audiences don't own '55 Bel Airs or '68 Camaros.

Exactly and truth be known rebuilding a car from the ground up makes it new in my book...Just like this race 69 Camaro... Beautiful car but not really old any more.

Excellent point. And what about all the kit cars that replicate a '30s Ford or Chevy or better yet a Shelby Cobra. They're technically new cars as well.
