Have a buddy who's on the fence between a new Mustang or a new Camaro.
He says a Mustang with the same horse power of a 2ss stickers for 52,000.
Thats with the Roush package.A 2ss is what about 35K Can't he do alot of mods to the camaro for less than differce between the two prices?

Tell him to buy the part's and do it himself, if that's the route he want's to go. I've got 55k invested in mine and that include's 5k in stereo equipment and and somewhere around 500rwhp, you wont get that with a Stage 3. The problem is not all of the cost is for go alot of it is for show, refering to the Roush body kit.

My only difficult decision will be which one to drive today

Agreed. A Camaro SS with $17k in mods should be able to take that Mustang pretty easy. Honestly, he could probably beat it, yet spend a good bit less than the whole $17k.

Bore it out, supercharge, headers, exhaust, suspension. It would be faster than the roush.

Yes he can, or there are Camaro equivalents to the Roush cars (supercharger, suspension, and cosmetics) that you can buy for about the same price, such as the Berger SS. These cars also make significantly more power.
