Best Clutch for single turbo LS3 setup

Trying to get a parts list together and wrap my head around the pricing. Gonna go with a single VSR 7875 turbo. I was looking into McLeod, and as with everything there are negatives out there. But, it seems I have found more positives than negatives with Monster Clutch. What are your guys recommendations/experiences. Should I be looking into something else for this setup? Thanks.

You're on the right path, most likely a twin-disc depending on how much RWHP you're targeting.

clutch

Mcleod, ACT, Monster, and so on, if installed correctly and shimed as needed. You wont have any problems, most issue people have and post are due to improper install,

Look up does your clutch setup need a shim, I believe Tick performance has a great writ up on it.

While you're in there and regardless of your clutch choice, make sure you go with a billet release bearing support.

Cheaper option (single disc) would be a Spec Stage 3 or Stage 3+ depending on the power level goals. It held fine 3 years 30K, 20K over 9XX WHP on 20PSI Stock Motor.

Better option will give you headroom to grow Monster Twin Disc. Will support more power. Will give you a stock pedal feel making drivability relatively easy depending on the set up.

With that said either way you do it, get a new OEM GM Slave, Monster Billet Support Bearing, and Monster Remote Bleeder.

For Reference I personally now have a Monster Triple Carbon in the car, but we are big power levels in comparison. I went straight to the triple instead of twin disc.

It's pretty amazing that I'm still on my 2013 stock OEM GM Slave cylinder and I can't count how many clutches I've burned through... lucky me, I reckon!

I have a single turbo setup, also using the vsr 78/75 2.5g, making around 14lbs right now and my mcleod rxt1200 seems very comfortable, smoked a regular rxt with it. +1 on upgrading to a billet support, and speed bleeder while there.
