Waiting over 20 years stories
I'd like to hear any stories of waiting over 20 years since your last Camaro. I had several Camaros in the 70s prior to getting married. The last one I ordered was '80 Z-28, black, red interior and stripes, 4-speed, special interior and wheels. It was around $7,500 and cost me about $250 a month. I got married shortly after buying it and we moved into an apartment. About a year later my wife found the house of her dreams (we still live in it) and the payments were going to be $650 a month; which was a lot then. So I had to sell my '80 Z-28 to afford the house. I said some day, I'm going to replace that car with a worthy Camaro sibling. These Gen5 Camaros are very worthy and I will be ordering a 2011 in August once this model year gets in full swing.

Last camaro was a 1993 indy pace car. Since i will be waiting till april 2011 to order i may wait and order a 12 as it will only be a couple months longer, and anxious to see what the newer model will bring in improvements.
