It looks like water from outside the garage door to me. Mine will do the same thing, and leave the same residue occasionally. There's no way IMHO that came from your car.

My wife and kids are addicted to flavored seltzer water, and we had cases of it squirreled away in the garage. This winter got so cold that I could hear the cans bursting.

A few I couldn't find aparently were above my coleman stove.
When I pulled it out yesterday, about 2 cans worth spilled out onto the floor.

Any bottles or cans of water in the garage?

Throw some litmus paper down to see if it has any acidity to it, check your spare tire area for anything strange
