Need well trusted Audio Shop in Austin Area!!

Hi Everyone!

I have 2 tasks I would like to get done in the Austin area and I am looking for a shop recommendation.

Task #1: Troubleshooting
- I currently have some white noise coming out of my speakers (only recently) and I cannot seem to find the source. So I need someone who can look into a completed job and figure out the trouble maker

Task #2: Small system update
- The original system was put in before all of the performance upgrades and the volume of the car has changed quite a bit. I would like to have the system match with the car and I need some suggestions on what that will take.

Current Audio System:
Dual 10 inch Digital Design 4ohm Subwoofers
Memphis Bell 5 Channel Amp
Morel Component 6.5 inch Speakers in the Doors
Memphis 6x9 Speakers in the Rear
LC7 Audio Control Interface Module

Thanks in advance!

If it helps with shop recommendations, I am also open to the surrounding areas such as Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, etc.

What do you mean white noise?

Is that what you have in the car now?

Hey Andy,

Yes that list is currently what I have installed in the car

By white noise I mean just "a" sound coming out of the speakers when the car is on, almost like a soft static. It is not music, it does not go away based on my input source, it does not get louder or softer based on radio volume (altho at times it does seem louder than others)

All interior Speakers? Doors and rear deck?
Even switching from radio - auxiliary - cd player?
If so my best guess would be your line output converter. I'm sure it's not a bad ground. Everything is in the trunk. Or try lowering down settings on line output converter.

I had same white noise at volume lv1-3. Once I get past that music drowns it out so I hardly ever hear it. I've tried checking grounds but can't find it either. I'm running all new speakers (hertz), jl 900/5, and my link with fark

A PAIR of 10" subs in a car? Heck, a 600 watt 8" Velodyne fills my whole house with bass that will make stuff fall off walls.
Bass overkill gonna make you deaf at a young age. Save some cash for hearing aids.

QUALITY not quantity. You're not hearing music, You're hearing THUMP.

You need to come over and pick out one of my nice first edition pressing or special pressing VINYL recordings (I'm closing in on 8000 albums). Tube powered vinyl sound heard through Altec Lansing Voice of the Theater speakers is a life changing experience.

I have been buying quality (Japanese in the early years) vinyl and quality sound reproduction equipment for 45 years. My love of music, and the expense of it, caused 2 divorces.

@Andy
- Mostly it sounds like the rear dash speakers, but I will have to do more research. Another reason why I want to get a few upgrades / balancing done. The sound doesnt surround you from all sources like I want.

@Snidely
- It is true, you can get a lot of sound from a little! I usually keep the bass pretty low since I listen to mostly rock / EDM style music and want it to be tuned for the genre appropriately. I am more about performance in this car than sound, but who doesn't want to be able to hear their music ha
