Well, I only know AGP. But I've seen enough post of folks having oiling, smoke and heat problems with "other manufacturers' kits." Make your own decision based on your own research. We're just talkers here.

My car came with a PD blower and we got it to about 830 rwhp @ 20psi w/out N2O but it would only make that type of power for one gear and then the boost / blower was so hot from being overspun, IATs were astronomical and so the power fell off in 3rd, 4th and 5th. No way to know, but if I had to guess the power was something like 830 rwhp, 780 rwhp, 750 rwhp, 750 rwhp through the gears. Now, the F1A won't have that issue but the PD was very daily drivable. I loved the car but I wanted more max power and more adjustability on the fly for road racing and street cruising.

I went with the AGP Twin Turbo system with a pair of 58/62s and changed nothing else. With a very safe tune the car made 920 rwhp / 870 rwtq on 16.5psi. The car picked up a few MPG and the driveability was absolutely fine even with the mis matched BTR PD Stage 3 cam. The torque could be a LOT higher but we turned the GAIN all the way down and went really safe on timing, far safer than we did with the PD blower tunes to keep the rods safe.

What was REALLY eye opening was the way the car pulled through the gears at speed. It felt totally different than the blower setup. The car got STRONGER as the load on the engine went up.

In a few situations, I ended up in roll races with cars that had about 1050-1100 rwhp and felt the urge to turn the boost up to 20psi. No dyno numbers on the stock engine to share with that boost setting but the car was able to hold it up to 175 easily and the races were very, very close. The reason I say that is because when the car was PD Blown it would really slow down on the big end. I'm looking forward to getting the car back to test the power levels with the new motor.

Now my shop Advanced Modern Performance is installing an LME 388 that is sleeved, diamond pistons, callies rods 10:1 compression with a BTR Twin Turbo cam. We should be able to turn the boost up safely to 20 - 25 psi and we have plenty of fuel. My goal is to make 1100 rwhp at MAX and be fine to drive it around COTA / MSR with 750 rwhp all day long.

I've owned 23 sports cars! I won't list them all but my top 3 looked like THIS

- 95 Supra Single Turbo
- 13 Camaro ZL1 w/ PD Blower
- 06 STi

After the ZL1 got tuned and was TT, it took the top spot.

- 13 Camaro ZL1 w/ PD Blower
- 95 Supra Single Turbo
- 06 STi

If my car was stolen today, I'd MOST likely buy an A6 ZL1 and do this same exact setup again but with an Auto. So my vote, go Twin Turbo. More adjustability, far, far far cooler when you pull up to the stop light or car meet, trust me I have the proof! I've had guys follow me to parking lots just to ask about the car after hearing the turbos whine as I drive down the road or the blow off valve rip. The AGP Turbo whistle is head tuning. Finally it is absolutely and completely DD friendly.

Just my 2 cents.

Saku, you need to drive a 6th gen with the A8 and twin EFRs. To me that is the car to have right now.

Be sure to go with the size of turbos your tuner suggest for the kit and not Agp. I made that mistake.

I have a 416/4l80. Told them I wanted to hit 1000hp, They said the 54/57 billet bb turbos would do it. My tuner told me they would be to small so I asked again and they said these would get the job done. I just didn't want to much turbo and have to fight lag. Most I can get out of these is 800rwhp. I've had 2 different tuners tune on the car. Both said that's all they have in them. Sold my f1a because all I could get out of it after putting the 416 in was 800. Now I still have the same problem.

Running 91/ Dual nozzle meth, 17lb. Both tuners couldn't add more then 10* of timing (Anything over that and we start getting knock) 17lb is the most boost we could get the turbos to make. Cant control boost with the wastegates, 10lb spring will hit 17lb.

I know the fueling can do it. Hit 875 with the stock motor and f1a with 17* of timing.
