Bumblebee Camaro @ Kansas City Auto Show

I took pictures and shook down the hot spokesperson for Camaro details. She knows nothing. I'll just post a few so you guys can start drooling. I know I was! If you can't open these here, open them in a new window! They are all on Facebook.

I saw Bumblebee from across the room and came running.

Apparently, Bumblebee got into a fight with some Decepticons along the way.

Check out that chiseled side!

This one concerns me. The pipe appears to become one pipe towards the front, and there is a gap between the body and the underbody molding. That could have been done better, but how many people look under a car to take a picture? I'm guessing that's just us.

Look at that butt. Hers is nice, too.

Toyota is ripping off the Chevrolet SS with their Corolla S3! Tell me they didn't rip that off, and I will tell you you're wrong.

Can I get this as an option for the Corolla S3? I didn't think so, Toyota. Why do you have to go and tease me like that?

Toyota can sure pimp an engine bay.

I guess they thought they could pimp the rims, too. Damn—those are ugly!

I love the Mini interior. You can't disrespect a cool interior, even if you can't fit a person behind it.

The BMW M5 is class out the ass.

I see some lines that may have helped inspire the concept Camaro. Notice the screen placement and radio shape.

Broken images

Sorry brother.

Edit:
Thanks for the Pics!!! I wouldn't be too concerned about the undercarriage... I'm not sure if the same goes for the bumblebee cars but the original concept is a chopped STS or CTS. Cant remember. Either way this won't be what the Holden/Zeta based cars will look like.

And besides this one was built by that sissy Saleen. And, "He's a dirty trash can full of Poop" - (Surfs Up, Sony 2007.) Which means he was thinking like a ford guy when he did it. So who knows...

Thanks for the Pics!! Very cool shots!

And, yeah - why do people look at you funny when you peek underneath cars I mean...I wanted to see underneath the G8...nothin wrong with some curiosity - and yet, I was yanked up by my collar. Maybe cause I was tripping people.............

The Bumblebee's (2 of them at least) are built off of heavily modded GTO chassis. I think they've been dubbed "GTMaros"

Does anyone else have thoughts on the S3? That's the one that got under my skin. I'm guessing the S3 means something like Supreme Super Sport and the emblem is clearly stolen from Chevrolet's SS platforms, based on an old Monte Carlo SS that got the emblem first. The S3 is like stabbing at any SS on the road. Is anyone else taking it as personally as I am?

Naw...there's so many other classes of veh's out there...just another name. Now, if they used the SS emblem, I wouldn't be happy.

Actually, that's Trish -- and she does know a lot -- but she also knows that if she spills the beans -- it's.......................

..............for her.

Bumblebee is a GTO chassis -- with a Camaro body applied --

So -- don't be concerned by what you see underneath him.

(by the way -- you made him blush, taking pictures of him that way.....)

I thought Bumblebee turned a little pink after that. Anyway, Trish was great conversation. I meant she didn't "know" anything, as in she wouldn't tell me anything new. I didn't expect her to tell me anything new but it was fun to try. It's really great to see someone standing by the car that loves it as much as us enthusiasts do. I couldn't say the same for the Ford rep, which happened to be a robot.
