Performance Center in NJ?

My age reflects the title LOL..

I recall going to PCOA (Performance Centers Of America) when I was building my first car back in the 80's.. Like a kid in a candy store..

Since then life happened and here I am back into it and just wondering if anyone knows of any places that could still be around like this you can just walk into and pick up performance parts like the good ole days in NJ or even PA that would be doable.. Tried searching and all that seems to come up are the more tune shops and local garages..

Thanks.. Looking for a parts kind of place not tune or custom shops like them. I'm very close to Tune Time and East Coast. Seems the kind of place I'm looking for don't exist anymore in brick and morter by me anyway.

Oh right, my bad. Uh, why not just order online and have stuff delivered? At least then, assuming you order the right stuff, you got a better shot at getting what you need

If you got to Etown at all, stop at "Jersey Speed" there at the track. It is right next to the photo shop, by the staging lanes. I do not know who runs it (it is not owned or run by the track, it is a private business) but he stocks performance parts, although I don't know what he targets (carb or EFI) and he is a Nitrous refill station if you use that. When Van Iderstine stores were open, Jersey Speed was a warehouse store in North Jersey and they were the stocking location for all the V.I. stores and if I'm not wrong, actually owned all the stores. I do not know if that is the case anymore. The biggest disadvantage of him is that you have to pay to enter the track. On the other hand, you can try the "Speed Shop" at Atco Raceway and I think he is open during the week with regular store hours, but I've never been in there myself. If you want to drive up to Avenel off Rte 1, there is a brick and mortar store there but I can't remember for sure it's name, but I think it's something like Roadrunner Speed Shop. The at one time advertised largely in the Raceway News from Etown (if you want any copies let me know I get them all the time at the house). I'm not sure if a couple of local (wall twsp & shrewsbury) have speed parts on hand but I can give you their names, or again they are in the Raceway News for the most part, and are sponsors at events during the year at Etown. It's to bad that the last performance store around (Shore Motorsports) closed a couple of months ago in Toms River.

You can believe him. These guys do great work. Installed Headers on my old Z28 and Dyno Tune. Did a Dynotune on my SS last week.

Highly Recommended.
