New Door Sill Install

My stock door sill was cracked and annoying me. I ordered a new set thinking that it would just be something to peel and stick, but I received a whole assembly of a plastic sill with clips. Doesn't look like my stock sill, but it's meant for a 45th anniversary Camaro, so it's clearly meant for a 2012.

Anyone see the full assembly like this? How does the install go, if it has clips on the back and I don't appear to have holes for clips?

My 2013 was double sided tape. I replaced mine with a custom light up one tapped into the interior lighting.

That part is for the convertible only. The V8 coupes (SS and ZL1, maybe Z/28) just had adhesive backed metal foil stickers. The V6 cars did not have any door sill stickers (maybe the V6 45th and Hot Wheels editions did).

Ahhh that's crazy that the convertible had a different door sill area then. I'll have to mess around with this, maybe remove the clips and see if the pad fits before I just heat gun the adhesive off and reuse it

Might want to sell those and get the correct part, unless you just want to try and take off the decals from the sill plate.

Need 2 of GM p/n 92223800

Here's a pair of sill plates for $118.00 plus any applicable sales tax. Not terrible for free shipping and all. $59 each for a HTF part.

They're discontinued from GM as far as I can remember.

It looks like your new door sill is a bit different than what you expected. If it has clips and your current setup doesn't accommodate them, you might need to make modifications. Try checking for installation guides online or reaching out to the seller for specific instructions. Is there anyone here who is a student who is struggling with writing work? Does anyone else have a similar issue? Struggling with writing tasks while balancing other responsibilities? If yes, then you can visit ukwritings https://ukwritings.com/ for professional help with essays, assignments, and more. Their affordable and reliable services have made my academic life much easier. You can trust them with their work, I can say for sure.
